Last night of Winter Trap for 2025. Rick Unruh came out on top with a 49/50 and Eddie Moore was the Runner up with a 47/50. Rick also took the Shoot off. Special thanks goes out to Gary Jackson for handling the paperwork and finances and to Becky Ruark for coming out preparing hotdogs and burgers. Thanks to all that helped load a trap and/or did any scorekeeping. This help is most appreciated. See y'all in February

Ronnie Jones edged out Gary Jackson this week to come out the top shooter with a 47/50. Jackson and Rex Simpkins tied as Runners Up with a 45/50. Eddie Moore was the Shoot Off Winner....Congratulations guys.  Gary Jackson has done it again...Gary shares last night's first place win with Rex Simpkins, both with a 46/50 and Todd Jones came in second high with a 45/50.  Gary Jackson, yes again, and Charlie Muir come away sharing the spotlight with 46/50 targets smashed. Good job fellas. I will add a side note that Charlie's targets were a little more challenging than Gary's. Ground fog had rolled in around 5:30pm and visibility was limited for the first three squads shooting through the fog at green clays. Charlie shot on Squad 1 and Gary Squad 5.  Gary Jackson became the 2nd shooter to run all 50 clay targets since this league began. Gary was the High Shooter for the night and was also the Winner of the Shoot Off defeating Dylan Lee after a trip around the back fence. CONGRATS Gary!!  High Overall Shooter:

Runner Up: Todd Jones with a 46/50.  This was the last shoot to determine the 5 Man Team for the 2025 year. There are several shooters who can do a final make up next month after the Turkey Shoot if they choose to do so (See a Trap Committee member). Rob Kemp and Dylan Lee share the top spot after breaking 95/100. Both also pick up a yard...Kemp to the 25yd line and Lee to the 23yd line. Lonnie Friedel took the Runner Up spot with a 94/100.  Monday night turned out to be Wet, Windy and Chilly with a northwest wind that made the clays a little more challenging. 10 hearty competitors braved the conditions. Rob Kemp came out on top with a 48/50 followed by Rex Simpkins with a 46/50.  Donnie & Joey Whittington shared the spotlight with 47/50 followed up by Dylan Lee & Rob Kemp with 45/50.  |
