What an amazing Match!
73 Competitors 7 stages 2 side games Over 10,000 rounds fired! On Behalf of the Salisbury Gun Club, and of the Pistol Committee, I can only say that we are thrilled with the experience of pulling off our second large Pistol Match! Thank you to all who came to compete, thank you to all who came to work and make the event run smooth, and thank you to all of our sponsors, supporters, and friends around! The shooting sports community is truly an awesome group of people that we love to be with. Out of the 69, over 28 of the shooters were gun club members. We had guest shooters from Delaware, Bridgeville Rifle & Pistol Club, Pennsylvania, and even from the western shore of Maryland! We had another great day at SGC! This was the last 2 stages of the GPA Postal Match, as well as a 3rd stage on the Plate Rack. The weather is solidly warmed back up! Thanks to all our shooters. And cheers to our new-to-us shooters! Thank you all!
Another great day at SGC! Our first sunny Saturday for a pistol match this year and it brought out a record crowd of 32 shooters! Thanks for coming out y'all!

Subfreezing temperatures, a windchill-in-the-teens that mostly stayed away... and a snowy crunch under every step. We had a nice group of 16 shooters, with lots of friends and some other shooters who got snowed out of shoots farther north.

November's regular pistol shoot had to be replaced with a bowling pin match. Mike Konopik was top centerfire gun, and Preston Davis was top rimfire. December 16th's Bowling Pin Match was a full day with 8 rimfire shooters, 16 9mm guns, and 6 big bore .45's! Dave C. was top rimfire, Phil Cathell was top 9mm, and Jodi DiSilvestri was top .45! well done! |
