It was a cool morning but we all had our hand warmers in use!
Mario Zorzi won the field of 8 rimfire shooters.
Phil Cathell won the field of 13 9mm shooters.
Jodi DiSilvestri won the field of 6 .45 He-Men!
And Henry Schoenborn won the PCC field of 5 shooters, with a .45 PCC conversion for a 1911!  Neat trick!

Happy August!  Time is flying this summer.  Phil forgot a few blog posts...
Late June had a 5th Saturday so a bowling pin shoot was in order.  Mike K, Doug C, and Jodi D all won the 3 different caliber brackets.  Details in the July newsletter.

The July GPA shoot had a stellar 28 shooters.

The July 31st AR Novice Night Shoot was a fun event.  We had 20 shooters, with several new shooters and a few who heard of the event just earlier that day.  Thanks for coming out!  We're getting hyped up for 2 Gun in 4 weeks!!!

November's regular pistol shoot had to be replaced with a bowling pin match.  Mike Konopik was top centerfire gun, and Preston Davis was top rimfire.

December 16th's Bowling Pin Match was a full day with 8 rimfire shooters, 16 9mm guns, and 6 big bore .45's!  Dave C. was top rimfire, Phil Cathell was top 9mm, and Jodi DiSilvestri was top .45!  well done!

We had a nice crowd with 10 guns in each rimfire and centerfire divisions.  Congrats to Jody Baker for winning rimfire and to Doug Carlton for winning the centerfire bracket!

What a hot and scorcher day!  But what a great crowd we had!!!  I think we had about 20 shooters, but over 40 guns were brought to bear on the bowling pins!  Including two revolvers and 2 carbines!

Let me tell you folks, the brackets show, these were hard fought wins!!!  Lots of close calls and near wins but here's how it went.

Oh My Lordy, Ben was rimfire champ back in April too!  Yikes, somebody stop him!  Great shooting to all.

We had a beautiful day with 30 guns and 20 shooters at our first Bowling Pin Shoot of the year!  Congrats to our winners Ben & Jodi!  After the official brackets, we had a few fun matches with a 10mm and a carbine, and a good time was had by all!

We had a great day shooting at Bowling Pins!  We had 11 Rimfire shooters and 10 Centerfire shooters, and then some fun with carbines after the handguns were finished.  Congrats to Jodi DiSilvestri for winning the Rimfire Bracket, and to Ben Jordan for winning the Centerfire Bracket!

We had a great time with 16 shooters this morning!  Wasn't too hot, but the competition was fierce!  We held a double elimination shoot.  First to knock all 5 pins OFF the table wins.  Head-to-Head shoots like this are a fun change up from our routine IDPA style shoots.  Apologies for the bracket, odd number of shooters!
