There was a total of 36 shooters spread over three events, 100 Singles, 100 Handicap & 100 Singles targets.  The air was chilly with the wind out of the NNW blowing sustained 15-20mph and gusting over 30mph.  The targets were quite challenging and made  for several expletives amongst the competitors.  Once again, the trap committee would like to thank all those that lent a hand to keep the event running smoothly.  It's the volunteers that keep making our shoots a success.  The Silver Shoot is scheduled for April 25 and is a standard program of 300 targets.  Up for grabs are bars of silver.  The committee is always looking for more help during the shoots.  If your interested contact Roger Webster or John Lee.

Lonnie Friedel led the way with 41/50 and Donnie Whittington was Runner Up with a 40/50.
​All shooters received an oyster sandwich or hotdog.  Many thanks to Tom Shockley for getting the oysters and overseeing the kitchen.  Also, Becky Ruark for her infamous desserts, Mike and Ethan Ruark for cooking up the sandwiches.

One couldn't ask for more perfect weather for February and the club's first ATA shoot of the 2026 year.
We had one hiccup which we were able to overcome and to continue with the shoot without any further difficulties.
As usual there were a host of volunteers on shoot day as well as the lead up to the shoot.  Shooting pads had to be cleared of snow, traps loaded, limbs/branches to be picked up and the road graded to alleviate potholes.  The volunteers know who they are and the trap committee thanks all of you.

Started out with a chilly morning and NNW wind which made the day's shoot challenging.  
Lonnie Friedel came out on top with a 99/100 followed by Roger Webster, III with a 94/100 (too bad he didn't play the Lewis Option).
​Next shoot for five man team will be April and the program will be 50 singles and 50 handicap.
