Thank you so much to the 11 competitors who braved the tropical wind and rain today to compete in our first ever AR/Carbine/PCC Shoot! We had a blast, 11 shooters with 18 guns ranging from AR's, rimfire guns, 9mm and .45 carbines, and even a Mini-14! It only rained on the first half of the shoot, which was 10 yard shots, and the second half at 25yard was a lot drier.
This event was scored via Hit Factor, or points per second. It is interesting to see how the scoring worked. You can see that there is a trade off between time and points scored. Props to David Payne for highest point score and also winning the Rimfire category!
David Payne 1st Rimfire
Ben Jorden 2nd Rimfire
Dan Madica 3rd Rimfire
Ben Jorden 1st PCC
Phil Cathell 2nd PCC
Jody Baker 3rd PCC
Phil Cathell 1st AR
Ben Jorden 2nd AR
Dan Madica 3rd AR
HOA Ben Jorden (PCC)
R/U Phil Cathell (PCC)
Wait a minute, wow look at Ben Jorden, placing in all three divisions, great shooting!
It wasn't the shoot we planned since we adjusted to stay somewhat dry, but hope to see you all again and more on Friday December 2nd for another Carbine shoot!
P.S. Oil those guns up well to dry out from today!
